The Creative Curriculum®

We blend play-based and the Creative Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers & Twos and Preschools — researched-base, an approved Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) at Blooming Minds. The Creative Curriculum® fits into our center's philosophy perfectly as it allows teachers to implement age appropriate daily activities that supports children's social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.

Play is essential to young children – it is the way they learn about the world. Our center is fully play based. Through pretend play children learn about their surroundings, learn to problem solve, and develop thinking skills.

Outdoor Play enables children to explore the natural environment and learn about nature and their surroundings. At Blooming Minds each class has a designated outside time on a large playground which allows kids to enjoy the outdoors, sandbox and take walks on our nature trail located behind our playground.  

We celebrate birthdays and special holidays at Blooming Minds. We believe that celebrating special days and holidays can make a great opportunity for children to make memories together.

Our staff are hardworking individuals that create a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children to develop and learn confidently. With our low staff to children ratio, each child is promised individual interaction which allows them to form personal connection with their teachers.
